Brookfield Place stands at 230 Vesey Street on the Hudson River edge of Battery Park City, directly west of the World Trade Center. Its Winter Garden atrium, framed by a high glass vault and palms, forms the central public room between office towers, shops and the waterfront terrace.
More than 40 shops and services cover fashion, accessories, beauty, wellness and everyday needs, while dining ranges from fast-casual counters to full-service restaurants. The directory is compact enough to combine shopping with a walk through the atrium and out toward the North Cove marina.
A pedestrian passage links the complex to the World Trade Center transportation network beneath West Street. Brookfield Place also programs installations, performances and seasonal events in its public spaces, so the Winter Garden may function as a gallery or stage as well as a retail concourse.
