Why take this tour
The BEAST is Circle Line's seasonal, jet-powered thrill ride on New York Harbor. Two departure versions operate from Pier 83 in Midtown and Pier 16 at the Seaport, using twin-engine speedboats for a roughly thirty-minute run built around acceleration, sharp turns, loud music and spray.
The experience
The Midtown route races down the Hudson past Chelsea and Lower Manhattan toward the Statue of Liberty. The downtown version begins beneath the Brooklyn Bridge before crossing the harbor, giving the same destination a different opening sequence of East River infrastructure and Seaport views.
Before you book
A pause near the Statue of Liberty separates the sightseeing moment from the high-speed return. This is not a conventional narrated cruise: the boat's motion is the principal attraction, riders must meet the published height requirement, remain buckled in individual seats and expect a wet, loud and physically bouncy experience.
