Why take this tour
Circle Line's Statue at Sunset Cruise is a seasonal music cruise departing from Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport. Its route enters New York Harbor as daylight fades, approaching the Statue of Liberty while Lower Manhattan shifts from reflective façades to an illuminated skyline.
The experience
The downtown departure immediately places the Brooklyn Bridge, East River waterfront and Financial District in view. Farther into the harbor, Ellis Island, Governors Island, Brooklyn and the New Jersey shore widen the scene, while the Statue of Liberty becomes the voyage's principal close-range landmark.
Before you book
Unlike Circle Line's narrated sightseeing products, this cruise is organized around music, changing light and exterior views rather than continuous historical commentary. Indoor lounges and outdoor decks remain available, but sunset timing and the seasonal operating calendar make it a distinct current product rather than a generic evening ferry.
