SUMMIT One Vanderbilt occupies the upper floors of the One Vanderbilt tower beside Grand Central Terminal. Rather than functioning only as an observation deck, it combines views over Manhattan with mirrored architecture, reflective floors, light, sound and large-scale installations that alter the apparent dimensions of each room.

The experience unfolds through connected spaces designed by Kenzo Digital and other collaborators. Transcendence multiplies the skyline through mirrors, Affinity fills a room with floating reflective spheres, and outdoor terraces reveal the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, East River and the dense street grid from different directions.
Plan your visit
Its visual effects are the central attraction, but they also create intense brightness, reflections and shifting depth cues. The building's location adds an architectural relationship with Grand Central and the Midtown towers below. Together, the art and panorama present New York as both a physical city and an image repeatedly reframed by glass.
