Why dine here
Qahwah House is a family-owned coffee company founded in 2017 to introduce Yemeni coffee heritage in the United States. Its Bay Ridge café belongs to a growing national network but retains the central proposition: Arabica beans sourced directly from Yemen and served through both traditional and contemporary methods.
What to expect
Yemeni-style coffee often carries cardamom or other warm spice, while qishr brews dried coffee husks into a lighter, aromatic infusion. Adeni tea combines black tea, milk and spice; espresso, pour-over, Turkish-style coffee, cold brew and pistachio latte map those traditions onto a modern specialty-café menu.
Before you go
Khaliat al-nahl, the soft honeycomb bread filled with cheese and glazed with honey, gives the drinks a characteristic pastry companion. The official location directory identifies the Bay Ridge branch, and the company’s current menu explains its Yemeni beans, house roasting and range of traditional preparations.
